THE YACHTLINER NOVEMBER 2009
Yachtline's newsletter for customers
Now that those of you in the UK have laid up your boats for the winter, the temptation is to stay indoors and keep warm. But even better would be to use the time to see to that routine maintenance that many owners find they can't keep up with during the season.
The Danube and Black Sea - a new destination for Yachtline
Over the summer Yachtline sourced yacht insurance for a customer taking the trans-continental route from northern Europe via the rivers Rhine and Danube to the Black Sea, quite an adventure. Check it out on www.yachtlineinsurance.co.uk.
Calling all ex-pat Brits in Spain and Gibraltar - we're happy to quote
So happy to quote that we're now advertising our .uk website in English on google.es. Search on 'boat insurance' if you'd like to take a look.
Yachtline can now quote for the South Pacific (no, not the musical!)
Allianz has agreed that Yachtline can now quote for cover in the South Pacific and French Polynesia without referring back to them. That's quite a feather in our cap.
Sailing outside your comfort zone? Yachtline can now help
Yachtline has been offered exclusive access to services to help adventurous sailors cope with piracy and other threats. Call the office if you would like to know more.
Older Boats - Streamlined Self Certification on the Web
We have replaced the seaworthiness self-certification form for older boats with some additional text in the declaration section of the proposal form. This is a real boon to owners of yachts 20-39 years old and valued at less than £10,000. It means the whole process can be done online. Very smooth.
Smoothing the cost of yacht insurance
For customers paying in GBP, we can now accept credit card payments through PayPal on the website. To find out more about how it works call the office on +44 (0) 207 403 3884.
