THE YACHTLINER JUNE 2009
Yachtline's newsletter for customers
Spring is well and truly with us, and there have been some wonderful sailing days with many more to come, we hope. We’re delighted to report that we have our best April ever despite the recession. This has been due, we believe, to our continuing emphasis on competitive pricing and excellent customer service. First some news about further improvements in customer service and then about Yachtline.
New Payment Option on the Yachtline website
Previously customers could choose to pay by cheque or bank transfer. We can now take credit card payment on our website which may help customers who prefer to smooth payment.
Revamped Website Home Page
After two years it was, we felt, time to give our website a bit of a makeover, so we commissioned a new design for the homepage on www.yachtline.co.uk. Our aim was to give the page a contemporary action-oriented look and feel. We’d be pleased to hear whether you like it.
Wider cruising ranges and higher value yachts
We are continually looking for ways to improve our service. We are delighted to announce that one of our main underwriters, Allianz has recognised Yachtline’s expertise and professionalism and has agreed to further improvements in the cover we can provide from 1 June 2009. These include wider cruising ranges and higher value yachts.
The London Marathon
Yachtline’s sponsored marathon runner Andy Hoffman was very pleased to finish the race within his target time, raising funds for Help the Aged. We were too. Well done Andy.
Solo Across the Atlantic
Yachtline has agreed to sponsor Charlie Pitcher, of Burnham-on-Crouch, in his attempt next winter to row singlehandedly across the Atlantic from the Canaries to Antigua. We’ll keep you posted on developments. For more information go to www.transatlanticsolo.com.
